Le Refuge des Gourmets, destination Chablais
Land and flavours
Between Annemasse and Thonon-les-Bains, near Geneva, Machilly is a peaceful village in the Chablais region of Haute-Savoie at the foot of Les Voirons massif. For Fanny and Hubert, both native to the area, it is also an infinite source of expression. Nestled between Lake Geneva and the mountains, it offers an open-air pantry of Arctic char, fera, crayfish and pike, alongside cured meats and game from the forests, and raw-milk mountain cheeses, including the unmissable AOP Abondance and other such gems. Here, taste is a matter of worship and authenticity a hallmark. Cattle rearing, market gardening, wild mushroom foraging and, of course, the famous Machilly raspberries: here, good things come from the earth.

Local artisans
Market gardeners, livestock farmers, fishermen, bakers, fruit growers, winemakers - our local craftsmen and women live as close as possible to their land and to the lakes, mountains, forests and rivers of Haute-Savoie.

Driven by their passion, they respect the rhythm of nature and the calendar of living things to offer authentic, mouthwatering produce. Inspiring through their humility and hard work, they are the essential partners of Le Refuge des Gourmets.
